A rise in numbers marked Catton Parkrun's biggest event in nearly a year, thanks to a special takeover by charity Age UK Norwich.

This event was intended to boost awareness about the charity's services and the significance of physical activity while also raising funds.

Parkrun is a worldwide, free, weekly community gathering in parks, including 5km timed runs or walks for people of all ages and skill levels.

Age UK Norwich's staff and corporate partners from Hatch Brenna participated in the park run among others, wearing branded gear in support of the charity.

Additional staff served as route marshals and handed out race tokens at the finish line.

'Run for a Reason' flyers were given out, igniting discussions about how the community can aid Age UK Norwich's essential work.
