A winner of The X Factor and a sitcom star are both bringing shows to a Norwich venue this year.
Joe McElderry, who won the ITV talent contest in 2009, will perform at the Maddermarket Theatre on August 16 and 18.
The South Shields-born singer stormed into the UK charts with his debut album Wide Awake.

He then discovered a new sound during his winning stint on ITV show Popstar to Operastar in 2011.
He is also a regular on the stage, which has included playing the lead role in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
His upcoming Classic Collection tour will treat fans to an evening of show-stopping numbers.

Also newly announced for the Maddermarket Theatre is Su Pollard with her new one-woman show Still Fully Charged on September 21.
She is best known for playing Peggy in the hit BBC sitcom Hi-de-Hi! and her theatre credits include Annie and Little Shop of Horrors.
The evening will feature stories from her 50 years in show business, fabulous songs and the appearance of familiar characters.
