With exit polls soon to dominate the news, one city busker has taken the election into his own hands.
Local musician Peter Turrell has been running his election day poll since 2015 by serenading passers-by into voting.
Perched in front of Jarrolds in London Street, the street performer of 10 years ran polls for two hours from 1.30pm.

"Originally I started decorating my pitch for Valentine's Day with roses and then the general election came around and I thought it could be fun to do my own vote," he said.
"The vote very rarely reflects the actual vote but if it reminds one person to go and vote then it's done its job.

"I think, if anything, it reflects which party supporters are likely to give to a busker.
"Last election it was pretty close between Labour and Conservatives which wasn't reflected in the actual result."
This is Mr Turrell's fourth poll (Image: Newsquest) Although Mr Turrell saw a slight decline in turnout this year, the stand-out winner of his poll was the 'none of the above/sick of politics' option.
The results of Norwich's 2024 busker vote
Green - £3.66
Labour - £2.25
Liberal Democrats - £1.50
Reform - £0.81
