The finalists have now been announced for the Norfolk Arts Awards 2024.
This year, for the first time, the finalists in all categories have been decided on by the public, with more than 3,000 votes cast.
The winners will be announced in the Eastern Daily Press on September 26.
1. The Business and the Arts Award
Supported by Mortgages for Actors
Norwich Lanes Summer Fayre - Since 2008, the Norwich Lanes Summer Fayre has attracted more than 25,000 visitors annually.
The Garage Trust - A performing arts charity that provides educational programmes, supports artist development and co-produces performances for young people.

2. The Dick Condon Theatre Award
Supported by The Garage
Norwich Puppet Theatre - This city venue has been dedicated to puppetry for more than 40 years.
Norwich Theatre - A leading UK arts organisation, which offers live performances and creative activities.
3. The Visual Arts Award
Supported by City College Norwich
A Handful of Time by Dot Howard and Sorrel Muggridge - They create participatory art for dementia patients and adults with learning disabilities.
Sainsbury Centre - A world-class art museum fostering cultural dialogue and exchange.
4. The Jarrold New Writing Award
Supported by the John Jarrold Trust
Horse Play by Katie-anna Whiting - Katie-anna wrote Horse Play using interviews, press cuttings and her grandfather’s scrapbooks.
Incubate by Norwich Theatre, in association with UEA - A partnership to nurture and retain arts talent in the east.
5. The Music Award
Supported by Norwich School
Kimberley Moore- She performs quirky, semi-autobiographical songs with her guitar and ukulele.
KlangHaus - They create immersive, site-responsive shows blending cinema, theatre and rock.
6. The Broadcast and Media Award
Supported by the University of East Anglia
Future Radio- Norwich’s community station, which is run by volunteers.
SoundYard - Run by former BBC producers Sophie Little and Anna Perrott, SoundYard teaches audio production and creates podcasts.
7. The John Hawksley Dance and Musical Theatre Award
Supported by Jane Hawksley
Triple Threat Stage School - Operating in four locations, offering choirs, private lessons and clubs.
The Garage Trust -The Garage in Norwich and The Workshop in King’s Lynn run dance activities and courses for all ages and abilities.

8. The Education and Community Award
Supported by Norwich Theatre
The Garage - The Garage Trust runs two centres that aim to change lives through the arts.
Norwich Puppet Theatre - A multi-arts venue and theatre company.
Other awards to be announced in September are The Peter Wilson Special Recognition Award, The Norfolk Icon Award, The Peter Barrow Bursary Award and The Lifetime Achievement Award.
