A Norwich City footballer is a newly married man just weeks after signing a new deal to stay at the club.

Jacob Sorensen took to Instagram on Wednesday to post a photo from his wedding to Anne Kirk Larsen.

With the caption "a summer to remember", the series of photos show the couple kissing and looking blissfully happy as they pose under a flower wedding arch.

The Danish midfielder and his new bride look effortlessly elegant, him dressed in a casual open-collar shirt and navy blue suit and her in a cross-neck long white fitted dress with gold hoop earrings and sandals.

Many of his teammates including Angus Gunn, Jack Stacey and Ashley Barnes left comments on the post congratulating the 26-year-old and his new bride.

The location of the ceremony remains a mystery but it appeared to be an intimate affair by the sea.

Sorensen has been at the club since July 2020 and after Norwich's Championship title-winning season in 2021, he signed a new contract with the club until June 2024.

This year he agreed on a deal to stay at Carrow Road, extending his contract by a year with a club option to take that to 2026.
