Disruption is expected on the A140 in Norwich city centre for five days of roadworks.
Resurfacing works on the A140 Guardian Road in Norwich are due to start on Monday, July 22, with an overnight closure lasting until July 26.
The work will see the worn-out road surface removed and replaced with a new asphalt surface.

Due to the nature of the work, the A140 Guardian Road and Bowthorpe Road will both be closed while works are being carried out on site.
However, the closure will be removed during the day when works are not taking place.
A fully signed official diversion route will be in place throughout.
It is anticipated that these works will take five nights to complete, subject to suitable weather conditions.

Access to properties within the closure will be maintained at all times but slight delays may occur while the team on site make it safe for access.
Norfolk County Council have said noise will be "kept to a minimum" throughout the works.
The work will be carried out by the council's Community and Environmental Services Department and their contractors.
