Police have confirmed that the body of a man has been found in the search for a missing 65-year-old.
The discovery was made by search officers at Coltishall Bridge in Horstead yesterday afternoon.
Formal identification has yet to take place but the family of Phil Edwards has been informed and are being supported.
Mr Edwards went missing from his home in Old Catton at around 1am on Friday.
Police, Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service, Norfolk Lowland Search and Rescue and the Coastguard had been carrying out searches for Mr Edwards in the Horstead Mill area when he was found.
There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
