He wasn't eating paella or drinking Estrella.

But Borja Sainz, Norwich's 23-year-old tricky winger, was spotted supporting the Three Lions at Norwich Fan Park last night as Gareth Southgate's men knocked The Netherlands out of the tournament.

The footballer was hanging out in the VIP area with Talk Norwich City host Chris Reeve who later posted a selfie on Twitter with the caption: "My adopted Englishman for the night… Brought Borja to back the boys!

"Can you tell he’s enjoying it?"

The Spanish footballer will have been eyeing up the competition too as the Three Lions will now face his home country in the final on Sunday.

He said England would prove a tough test for Spain but believed his country would lift the cup.

"We are absolutely over the moon with how the event went, I didn't expect the turnout we received considering it was midweek.

"But looking at the bar takings it would seem that everybody gave it a good go," Mr Watts said.

"Tickets are selling fast for the final on Sunday and we are really looking forward to it."
