A city man caught engaging in sexual communication with a child was found to have pornographic images of animals on his computer, a court has heard.
Benjamin Place, 21, of Birkbeck Road, pleaded guilty to three separate charges when he appeared at Norwich Magistrates Court on Friday.
Stuart Cowen, prosecuting, said Place was a former student at Access Creative College in Magdalen Street.

The court heard that Place was reported to the police after a teacher became aware he was sending messages of a sexual nature to the victim.
Police investigated and seized Place's computer, where they found one prohibited image of a child, as well as eight images and one video of a person performing an act of intercourse with a wild animal, namely horses and dogs.
Place pleaded guilty to sexual communication with a child and possessing a prohibited image of a child and extreme pornographic images with animals.
Chairwoman of the bench, Catherine Booty, said Place - who has a previous youth conditional caution in 2017 for sexual assault on a child under 13 - will be due back at Norwich Magistrates’ Court on October 2 this year for sentencing.
