A pair who had hidden cocaine worth £36,500 behind an air vent were among the criminals jailed in Norfolk last week.
Andrew Rundle
Andrew Rundle, 51, sent explicit images to what he believed to be a young teen asking: “Can I paint you?”
Norwich Crown Court was told he had indulged in explicit chat online over a two-month period with a profile that he thought was a young girl but was in fact a decoy account.
Rundle, of York Road in Great Yarmouth, admitted two charges of inciting and attempting to incite a child to engage in sexual activity.
Judge Katharine Moore jailed him for two and a half years, placed him on the sex offender register and made him subject to a sexual harm prevention order for 10 years.
Besmir Doci and Armir Cenaj
Police found cocaine hidden behind an air vent in a city property being looked after by two illegal immigrants, Norwich Crown Court heard.
A search was carried out at an address in Constitution Hill where a total of £36,500 of cocaine was found by officers "concealed in a void behind an air vent" as well as £9,183 in cash.
The court heard the drugs were found after Besmir Doci, 39, was stopped by police in Denmark Road and found to have £115 in cash on him.
Five snap bags containing white powder, found to be cocaine, were found in his jacket prompting a search of the address where he had been staying in Constitution Hill.
The co-defendant Armir Cenaj, 24, returned to the property and let himself in after having been shopping for groceries.
He was found to have a quantity of cocaine on him as well as £365 in cash.
Doci, of no fixed abode, admitted possession with intent to supply cocaine, being concerned in the supply of cocaine and possession of criminal property, namely cash.
Cenaj, of no fixed abode, admitted being concerned in the supply of cocaine and possession of criminal property.
Jailing the pair - both Albanian nationals - for two years each, Judge Anthony Bate said they were involved in the "clandestine" supply of Class A drugs.
Peter Esherwood
Peter Esherwood was found guilty of eight counts of sexual abuse against three victims - who were all under 10 at the time - in Great Yarmouth between 1988 and 2006.
The 66-year-old was sentenced to a total of 18 years - made up of 16 years imprisonment and two years on licence - following his convictions for five indecent assaults, one count of indecency with a child, one count of sexual assault of a child under 13 and another of causing or inciting a child under 13 to engage in sexual activity.
Esherwood, of Harfreys Road, Yarmouth, was brought back to this country earlier this year after being tracked down by police in Thailand.
