A bus company is set to sponsor a major Pride event.

First Bus East of England is making its colourful Pride Bus available as a unique venue at Norwich Pride 2024.

James McCluskey, commercial director at First Bus East of England, said: "We are incredibly proud to sponsor Norwich Pride and to actively participate in this celebration of diversity and inclusion.

"Our Pride Bus represents our commitment to supporting the LGBTQIA+ community and fostering an environment of acceptance and unity.

Robert George, head of fundraising at Norwich Pride added: "We are thrilled to have First Bus East of England as communications sponsor this year - we wouldn’t have been able to deliver our Pride Guide without them.

“Their support and the inclusion of the Pride Bus as a venue adds an exciting dimension to our event.

"We can't wait to see the community come together and celebrate love and diversity in Norwich."

The event is taking place on July 27.
