Drivers have been facing long delays due to roadworks at a major junction on the outskirts of the city.
A £270,000 traffic light replacement project began at the Martineau Lane and Trowse Bypass junction on Monday July 22.
It is part of a countywide programme and is expected to take five weeks to complete.
The junction is to remain open at all times but lane restrictions are in place to protect workers.

This morning, motorists reported delays of up to 20 minutes, with tailbacks of around an hour expected at rush hour.
Another person said they had been stuck for around 40 minutes on Monday.
Norfolk County Council initially said they had scheduled the work during the summer holidays when traffic flows were expected to reduce.
