CCTV footage shows someone setting alight to an item and placing it under the vehicle just before 12.30am.

Less than two weeks later, on May 11, Denise Hunt was woken by neighbours as her partner's VW Passat Estate was on fire.

Mrs Hunt checked her CCTV to see when the fire started and says she was "shocked" to see that someone had done it on purpose.
