Plans have emerged for several more homes at the edge of a new estate.

The properties, which could be made up of houses and a flat block, will be built just off Bungay Road in Bixley.

The land is currently vacant and overlooks the Octagon Barn, a popular shopping and cafe destination.

If approved, the site could have a mix of one, two and three-bedroom homes which will be accessed from St Wandrillle Close.

Bennett Homes is behind the Milestones development, which was recently completed and will surround the proposed homes when the building work is finished.

The land had been put up for sale through Brown & Co., Property and Business Consultants, and was on the market for at least five years prior to 2021 when No Limits Property Ltd first showed an interest.

The plot originally had planning permission to be developed as a commercial site.

South Norfolk District Council has set a target date of Monday, August 26 to make a decision on the plans.
