Norwich was turned into a rainbow on Saturday to celebrate Pride and it has been hailed a huge success by the organisers.

The event, which returned for its 16th year, featured a jam-packed programme of entertainment across city venues.

The Pride March set off from City Hall at 1pm in a symbol of protest, visibility and strength in numbers, with the sun shining over the colourful crowd.

"But Pride isn't just for the day and it is about carrying that spirit throughout the year."
