Police are investigating a possible hate crime after Pride flags and a shopfront were set on fire at the weekend.
Both Lisa Angel jewellery store in Lower Goat Lane and Coral Bay Jamaican Takeaway in the Market, were set upon by arsonists - with pride flags being set fire as well.
The incidents are said to have happened during the early hours of Sunday, mere hours after Norwich celebrated its 16th Pride event.
Police confirmed it's investigating both fires and are treating the market incident as a hate crime.
A spokeswoman for the police said: "Police were called to Gentleman’s Walk, Norwich at 2.52am, on Sunday, following reports of two men setting fire to some pride flags on a stall in the market.
"They then proceeded to also set fire to a business premises in Lower Goat Lane before fleeing the scene.
"Emergency services attended the scene including fire, where both were extinguished and no one was injured.
"Both incidents are being treated as arson, while the incident in the market also being treated as a hate crime.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
Tanya Clark has worked at Coral Bay for the last four years and said: "I came in about 9.30am yesterday and saw the remains of what happened.

"It's such a shame that people need to act like this.
"I know it's only the minority but they're always the loudest and act irresponsibly."
Fire crews used a hose reel jets and thermal imaging to extinguish the fire at Lisa Angel and the blaze was put out by around 3.10am.

Managing director of Lisa Angel, James Moody, was shocked when he received the call.
He said: "It's devastating for us.
"We're really trying to grow as an independent business and this is a setback.
"We weren't trading yesterday and we're closed today as we've got to make the store safe for everybody."
