A local library has been left smashed up as one city suburb continues to struggle with vandalism.
Costessey Library had its door damaged when two teens forced their way inside the building on Sunday evening.
CCTV recorded the pair committing the offence at around 5pm, although no items were taken from inside.
It comes after more than 10 cars had windows smashed and bodywork dented by objects, likely stones, while driving between Longwater Retail Park and Roundwell Park in the same area.
This led Costessey councillor Gary Blundell to warn the yobs there is a “serious concern of loss of life” for drivers travelling along a section of Dereham Road after the spate of attacks.
A spokeswoman for Norfolk Constabulary said: "While we routinely release CCTV footage of suspects, we won't be on this occasion because we cannot identify juveniles."
Police are investigating the act of burglary and criminal damage and are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident are seen young people in the area at the time.
