Bus passengers have been warned of disruption to services due to roadworks in and around Norwich.

First Bus has said that several more of its routes will be impacted by works taking place in the Norwich and Wymondham areas.

Multiple service alerts have been released with updates detailing the diversions which are planned for the next few weeks.

Crostwick Lane (13)

Due to fibre installation works taking place in Crostwick Lane in Spixworth, the Turquoise Line 13 will remain on a diversion route until August 2.

Services will operate on a normal route to the end of Park Road but will turn right on to Crostwick Lane and terminate outside the Post Office.

Services towards the city will then start outside the Post Office, however, Ivy Road and Lilian Road will not be served.

Station Road, Silfield (14A/15/15A/16/16A)

Due to further Anglian Water works taking place in Station Road, by the junction near the rail bridge, lines will not serve Silfield from August 12 to September 3.

During this time, Green Line 14A/15/15A/16/16A services will operate from Wymondham Cross, through Harts Farm as normal but will need to terminate at the end of Ayton Road and will not serve Silfield.

Services towards the city will operate this in reverse, starting their journeys from the end of Ayton Road.

Norfolk County Council has launched a minibus service to provide a link to Silfield during this closure.

Thorpe Road Bus Gate (7/25/26)

Due to further works at the Thorpe Road bus gate, all Blue Line services and service 7 will use a different stop at Norwich Rail Station after 8pm on August 5.

All services will operate from Stop DG on Riverside Road and stops DD/DE will not be served during the closure.

Service 7 will then divert via Canary Way and Clarence Road back to Thorpe Road and join the normal line of route.
