A pub on the edge of the city has gone up for sale just one year after under going a massive refurbishment.
More than £200,000 was spent on renovating The Stag in Salhouse from a "dark and dingy" boozer to a modern foodie destination.
Owners Lester and Katie Bayfield took on the Lower Street establishment at the end of 2022 and set about transforming it with a whole new kitchen, terrace, bar and dining area.
But a little over a year later The Stag - formerly The Bell - is up for sale on Rightmove for nearly £900,000.
A brief description reads: "The current owners took on the business as a project alongside their other local businesses.

"They invested significantly in its refurbishment, which is evident in both the exterior and interior appearance, as well as the attention to detail in all aspects throughout the pub."
Lester and Katie recently converted the crumbling Salhouse Hall into a luxury mansion and turned nearby Hautbois Hall into a wedding venue.
"With a balanced focus on both food and beverages, the pub has seen remarkable growth in popularity and turnover since it began operating as The Stag," the description continued.
"In just 12 months of trading, it achieved a turnover exceeding £749,000 for the 2023/24 period.

"This opportunity is ideal for an experienced owner-operator local to the area who wants to continue this growth for a small group with local experience and accommodation offerings."
But the lofty price tag has drawn criticism from locals who believe it is now out of reach for a community group to take on.
"That's what property developers do - do it up and flip it," one man said.
The Stag remains open while on the market and the owners have been contacted for comment.
