A couple are set to have the wedding of their dreams after winning a share of £3.2m in the People’s Postcode Lottery.
Jack Pye, 27, was one of 10 ticket holders in the leafy Ringland postcode to win £160,000.
The veterinary nurse broke down after being presented with his cheque before revealing the win to financial advisor fiance AJ Brown, 29, who had previously asked him to stop playing.
Now the couple, who are getting married next year, will plan a wedding day to remember.
“We’ll have the wedding of our dreams," My Pye said. "We have already booked what we wanted, but we might add a few surprises for the guests.
Mr Brown added: “I think I told him to stop playing because we had so many things to pay.
"Don’t listen to me! That’s what will be in the vows.
“We’ll be playing the Postcode Lottery theme tune as we walk down the aisle.”
The couple will tie the knot in arts and crafts manor Voewood House near Holt next October with around 200 guests including dachshund Harry and Labradoodle Bertie as potential ring-bearers.
Following their win they hope to top off the big day with a dream honeymoon in the USA.
“The Excel spreadsheet just exploded," Mr Borwn said. "Why not? We’re only planning on doing it once.
“I will be telling everyone to play now.”
Further along the leafy country lane, the couple's neighbours also had a variety of plans for their winnings from holidays to New Zealand, to home improvements such as a new roof.
A total of 1,159 neighbours in the postcode area shared the bumper £3.2m prize with those people playing with the full winning postcode, NR8 6AB, landing the biggest cheques.
