An upcoming 24-hour radio broadcast will fuel funds for city charity Future Projects.

Norwich's volunteer-led station, Future Radio, will present a vibrant line-up including live music, special guests, and intriguing surprises, all on air for 24 hours.

Tom Lorenzo, the station's breakfast show presenter, will lead the broadcast from 9am on August 29, until 9am the next day.

By making a donation on Future Radio's website, listeners can request a song and receive an on-air shout-out.

Mr Lorenzo said: “I'm somebody who loves a challenge, and for anyone who knows me personally it'll definitely be a challenge for me to stay awake for 24 hours, let alone present radio.

"But it's all for a wonderful cause and the experience is something I'm really looking forward to."

Station manager, Dean Tucker said: “Tom really is a great presenter and all-round lovely man.
