A BAFTA-winning comedian and presenter who dominated late night TV is making his way to Norwich.

Leigh Francis rose to fame for playing his charismatic, and often outrageous, alter-ego Keith Lemon on the hit ITV show Celebrity Juice from 2008 until 2022.

Francis presented the show's 26 series which hosted some of the UK's biggest celebrities.

The comic has now revealed he'll be coming to the city for an event launching his new memoir, "Leigh, Myself and I".

"I've actually written books before. Seven, if I'm blowing my own trumpet. But never about me, Leigh Francis," he said.

"Not many people know the real me. They know Keith Lemon, Avid Merrion, The Bear, but this book is all about who I am.

"Here's going to be some sad bits, but hopefully there'll be more happy bits that'll put a smile on your face a few times."

The event, In Conversation with Leigh Francis, will be held by Jarrolds department store in the city on September 19 at 6.30pm.

A single ticket costs £25 including entrance, a drink and a copy of the book. A ticket for two is available for £30.
