A mum-of-one says she fears for her safety after water from a flat above has been leaking into her home for months.
Jessica Leggett, who lives in Nelson Street with her 13-year-old daughter, says she is having to live without electricity as water is running down her plug sockets and through her light fixtures.
She also claims that her walls are covered in mould due to dampness caused by the leak, which started more than two months ago.
Jessica, who has been living in the property for 18 months, has been pleading with the owners of the flat, Musgrove and Co lettings agent, to resolve the issue.
She said: "It happened in May when me and my daughter came back and saw water leaking through the flat from above.
"It was coming through every ceiling in the flat and there's mould in the covings as well.
"The carpets have also shrunk because of the damp and the doors have swollen so much they won’t close properly.

"Because it was going through all the electricals I turned everything off for safety but then you don't have any power.
"A contractor came round and ripped up some of the carpet and said there was about £30,000 worth of remedial work that needed to be done, but that was it."

Jessica says Musgrove and Co told her that work to sort the issue will take two months and added she will need to "start looking for alternative accommodation".
With no assistance or alternative proposed, Jessica added: "My mental health has taken a real hit.
"I'm living from paycheck to paycheck as it is so this only adds to the stress of it all.
"It’s depressing because I just think what’s the point."
This newspaper contacted Musgrove and Co for comment on the matter.
