A prolific shoplifter has been jailed and banned from Co-op stores across Norwich for the next five years.
Hallum Elgood, 38 and of no fixed address, appeared at Norwich Magistrates' Court on Friday after pleading guilty to six shop thefts.
In these six incidents, CCTV caught Elgood stealing items such as pet products, laundry products and meat from shops in Earlham Green Lane, Lovelace Road and Colman Road between July 21 and August 6.

He later admitted to a further 11 thefts which took place between July 13 and August 9 and predominantly targeted the Co-op store in Earlham Green Lane, with more than £1,500 worth of items stolen.
Elgood was jailed for 16 weeks and handed a Criminal Behaviour Order banning him from entering any of the East of England Co-op stores in the area covered by Norwich City Council.
