A teenage boy has been arrested on suspicion of multiple offences after police were called to a fight in the city centre.
Officers were called to Castle Quarter just before 4.45pm on Thursday following reports of two people fighting.
Three police cars and a policeman on a bicycle attended the scene and a crowd of young men gathered to watch as the teenager was arrested.
READ MORE: 'Bin them or face jail' - crackdown on owners of zombie-style knives and machetes A spokeswoman for Norfolk Constabulary confirmed that a male teenager had been arrested on suspicion of assault, affray, possession of a bladed article and possession of a Class B drug.
He was taken to Wymondham Police Station for questioning where he remains in custody.
No major injuries were reported following the fight.
