A food-to-go spot is expanding to open a second branch in the Norwich Lanes.

Urban Bites sits in the centre of North Walsham and offers a number of dishes including hog roast sandwiches and baps, burgers and loaded fries.

After a successful first few years in business, its bosses are in a position to launch another venue and have chosen the premises at 9 Swan Lane in the heart of the city.

The eatery will sit just a stone's throw from Norwich Market and several popular businesses such as Turtle Bay, Cosmo and Bedford's Bar.

It will serve a "tweaked" adaptation of the menu currently available at the North Walsham unit.

"Our first shop in North Walsham continues to grow in sales and has given us the confidence to expand.

"We are very excited about the location and are confident our mix of in-store cooked food and our young customer-focused team will deliver."

Further details about the launch will be shared on the Urban Bites Facebook page.
