Travel experts at Accor have named Norwich one of the best cities to pursue a slower pace of life, after ranking the 10 most "chilled out" cities in the UK.
The list has been curated based on the quality of green spaces, coffee shops and libraries in the area, alongside other factors such as environment, happiness of locals and annual sunshine hours.
In third place, following York and Brighton, Norwich has been praised for its compact size, offering easy strolls through the historic city to cosy spots down cobbled lanes for a quiet read and a cuppa.
The only city in England set within a national park, the Norfolk capital has been noted for its fair share of green spaces, offering an escape into nature.
