A pub in the centre of Norwich has closed for a month as it is undergoing a refurb.

The Lamb Inn closed its doors today for the next four weeks while the "exciting" renovations take place.

The pub, part of the Stonegate Group, held a summer closing party over the bank holiday weekend.

Earlier this month, Norwich City Council approved a series of plans at the venue including a new outdoor bar, an upgrade to its signage and the installation of several light-up signs around the site.

In the plans, the lower half of the building will be painted dark grey as part of the work, which will also see the interior of the pub transformed.
