A man has been charged with drink driving after being found to be almost four times the legal limit.
A man in his 40s was stopped on Tuesday morning in Taverham due to his manner of driving.
He was arrested on suspicion of drink driving, of driving without insurance and otherwise in accordance to his licence.
He was taken to Aylsham Police Investigation for questioning.
John Murray, aged 40, of Rosebay Close, Norwich, was subsequently charged with driving a vehicle while over the limit, having provided an evidential breath test of 135 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
He was released on bail and is due to appear at Norwich Magistrates’ Court on October 10.
