Norwich has been ranked among the UK's highest winning areas in the Premium Bonds prize draw.

Vegas Slots Online analysed the average annual premium bond winnings of people living in 95 areas across the country.

They found Norwich to be in the top 10 highest winning locations.

The study found that over the past 12 months, there were a total of 2,268 wins in Norwich.

On average, it took 75 months for a Norwich local to win after opening their account and the average prize value was £3,380.51.

According to this data, September 2024 was a low month with 192 people in Norwich winning a total of £523,000.

This works out at an average of £2,738 each.

One person scooped £50,000 while six others took home £25,000.

Eleven people won £10,000 and 10 people won £5,000.
