A Norfolk pub will be transformed into a restaurant for the evening at new food pop-up events.

The Porters Arms opened at 27 Red Lion Street in Aylsham last December and it is run by couple Emily Bridges and Elliot Dransfield, both aged 29.

It built on the success of their Norwich micropub The Malt and Mardle, which launched in 2021.

Miss Bridges said: "If it goes well it will be a seasonal event - we want the pub to be a hive of activity with something interesting always going on."

There are slots at 6pm and 7.30pm and to book email hello@maltandmardle.co.uk or message The Porters Arms on Facebook or Instagram.

On Wednesday, September 11 from 7pm, there will be a charity quiz night fundraising for It’s On The Ball with entry for £2pp.
