A poster on the window of Unthank Fish & Chips at 131 Unthank Road says "under new management - opening soon".
It is one of Norwich's most popular takeaways and holds a 4.7 out of 5 rating on Google reviews, with the fish cooked fresh to order.

The identity of the new management team is not currently known and there have been no posts on social media yet.
The reopening date has not been announced and no changes can be seen inside the premises.

Neighbouring gift shop Rambling Wild is leaving Unthank Road soon to grow the online side of the business, with the property being let through estate agent Arnold Keys.
The nearest other fish and chip shop is New Sole Plaice located at 27 Suffolk Square in Vauxhall Street, which runs alongside Jenny Lind Park.
Businesses that have opened this year along Unthank Road include takeaway Greek Actually and coffee shop Grounded.
