More homes have been given the green light at an ever-expanding development on the outskirts of the city.
The ongoing housing boom in Cringleford continues after revised plans for the new houses were approved for the area earlier this week.
Broadland Council greenlit the plans despite multiple objections by people living in the area, mainly concerning the size of the homes in relation to the patch of land they'd be built on.
The statement, submitted by agent Orchard Homes, said the two new homes are to be built on a patch of land off Hill House Gardens, near Newmarket Road.
A revised plan was submitted in July 2023 after objections about the size of the houses were raised in the initial plans submitted in March.
However this did not reassure those living nearby and 15 objections from people living nearby were made about the new plans.
One objector said: "The houses are still far too large for the strip of land it's on."

Another said: "The revised plans for the homes are oversized relative to the size of the plots and the neighbouring properties."
Broadland approved the plans on September 2 and work must begin no later than three years from its decision.

With more than 1,300 homes and a new 420-place primary school planned for the area, the Cringleford community is one of the fastest-growing areas in Norwich.
Last month Cringleford Parish Council said it wanted to block any more major housing projects from being built in the area with a revised Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) which was originally adopted in 2014 to allow for the new homes.
However the council want to put a stop to additional expansions before it becomes unmanageable.
