New details about plans to build a new cinema in the city have been revealed.
Premium cinema chain, Everyman Cinemas, announced changes to the opening times of its planned branch in Chantry Place.
The new cinema will now be open between 9am and 2am every day when it opens – a change from the 10am to 10pm originally proposed.
Customers will now be able to watch films on any of the three screens until the early morning hours, as well as have access to the on-site bar and restaurant.
This comes shortly after Vue, in Castle Quarter, underwent a huge refurbishment and applied to screen films 24 hours a day.
However, work is yet to begin at the former home of Escape Hut.
When approached for more details in July, cinema bosses threw doubt over the future of the plans and refused to comment on the opening of the screens.
The recent details suggest that work will still be going ahead, and Norwich's fourth cinema could be opening in the next few years.
