A special cause prompts a coastal walk event organised by a Norwich-based charity.
The Feed is looking for volunteers to complete a challenging 15-mile coastal walk across the North Norfolk Coast on October 12.
The event, beginning at Blakeney and culminating at the Cromer pier, features a variety of challenging terrains.
Participants' contributions will crucially sustain The Feed's community initiatives which are designed to ensure that people living locally eat well and feel connected.
The most significant operation is the Hall Road social supermarket, providing economical groceries for over 6,000 city inhabitants unable to afford food.
Mr Chris Elliott, the charity's marketing and fundraising manager, vocalised the event's relevance.
He said: "We are working alongside thousands of Norwich families and demand is growing.
"With council funding cuts a reality, our coastal walk will go some way towards supporting our work.
"Where better than some of Norfolk's beautiful coastline for our next fundraising event."
Interested individuals are urged to contact Chris Elliott to register.
Each participant incurs a registration fee of £25 and will be expected to raise an additional £100 in donations.
