A new toilet block has been unveiled in a Golden Triangle park after months of work.
Visitors to Heigham Park in The Avenues now have access to new loos as four months of building work comes to an end.
Cannon Clarke Architects worked on the toilets after Norwich City Council asked them to replace the dilapidated 100-year-old building in the grade II-listed park.
The city council originally applied to upgrade the loos in August 2023 but was faced with months of delays after public concerns were raised about unfinished work in Heigham Park, including at the bowling building, ladies' bowling clubhouse and tennis courts.
Building work finally started in May, and the loos reopened on September 5.
Jon Brent, director at Cannon Clarke Architects, said: "The challenge of this project was to achieve a robust solution within the public setting while reflecting the charm of the park to create a positive user experience.
"The new toilets benefit from passive surveillance and flexibility of both segregated and inclusive cubicle designation."
A Norwich City Council spokesman said: "This is a vast improvement on the previous block, improving accessibility and comfort within the park."
