Norwich Airport has announced future plans for Ryanair flights from the city. 

The airport's managing director, Richard Pace, confirmed today the Ryanair routes introduced earlier this year will be continuing and are available to book for summer 2025.  

Mr Pace said: “We are delighted that Ryanair has confirmed that twice-weekly flights to Alicante, Faro and Malta will continue to be part of their summer schedule for 2025.

“The ability to fly to these ever-popular sunshine destination from their local airport will be welcomed by our customers and the continued operation of the routes is good news for the airport and connectivity for the region.”

In an interview last month, Mr Pace said the routes had been very popular, with all flights boasting a capacity of 90pc or more. 

He also hinted that up to three new Ryanair destinations could be announced at the airport this month. 

The twice-weekly flight to Alicante will continue throughout the winter months, while flights to Faro and Malta will pause in November before picking back up at the end of March.
