Norwich Theatre launches 'pay what you can' scheme

Norwich Theatre is introducing the incentive to "ensure everyone can enjoy the creative fun" of its October half-term programme. 

Aimed at getting children between seven and 15 more involved in the arts regardless of their financial background, people can choose to pay what they can to take part in a range of activities such as dance workshops and acting classes at the theatre's two studios.

"The arts enrich lives, inspire creativity, and bring us together as a community.

"We want everyone, regardless of their financial situation, to have the opportunity to enjoy these enriching experiences.

"We hope this will make it easier for every family to experience the joy of creativity together this half term."

In April the theatre launched a "pay in three" scheme which allowed visitors to split the cost of tickets more than £30 across three months, making it more affordable.

It was introduced in response to the cost of living crisis and following the "My Theatre" scheme which lowered ticket prices to £10 for those on a low income.
