A new beauty salon is opening next to a popular swimming pool in the city outskirts next month.
Hudson Beauty Salon will start welcoming customers in the first week of October at Norwich Swimming Pool in Costessey.
The salon will offer a range of treatments, including gel nails and nail art, lash and eyebrow treatments, waxing and ear candling, with a mobile service for spray tans and massages launching soon.
Ellie Hudson, 23, is behind the new business.
She said: "It's so exciting.
"This is the first business I have started and I'm shocked by how much interest there has been.
"I've been overwhelmed by the response. It has been crazy."
Ellie, who lives in Wymondham, had been working in the beauty industry for four years before the opportunity arose for her to start her own business at Norwich Swimming Pool in Costessey.
She said: "I feel very lucky that this opportunity was given to me.
"The swimming pool is really busy and people have to walk past my little shop to get there, which has been great advertising.
"I've already had lots of people contacting me to book appointments."
Hudson Beauty Salon will be open on Fridays and Saturdays, between 10am and 8pm, and from 10am to 5.30pm on Sundays.
Ellie said: "I'm opening late because people often need appointments after work or the school run.
"Most salons shut at 5.30pm or are closed on Sundays, so this will be an option for people struggling to get beauty appointments."

Natalie Hawes, who bought the pool during the covid lockdown, built an extension to the pool for Ellie to run her business in, for free.
She said: "Having been self-employed for many years and enjoyed the benefits of being my own boss I decided I would give my nephew and his girlfriend, Ellie, the opportunity to build their own business with no charge.
"It's great that as the business is doing well I am in a position to be able to give something back and hopefully sit back and watch them thrive."
