The Norwich Society is set to host a climate change conference.
The event, titled "Adapting Our City for Climate Change," will bring together key stakeholders to discuss sustainable development strategies for the city.
The conference will cover various topics, including climate risks to Norwich, the evolving low-carbon regulatory framework, and innovations in building products.
It will also address retrofitting existing properties to reduce carbon footprint and cope with heat and flooding.
The Norwich Society, which marked its 100th anniversary in 2023, is collaborating with local councils, academic institutions, and the business community to understand the specific impacts of climate change on the city.

The event is part of a series of initiatives by the society to prepare for, protect, and mitigate the effects of climate change on the community and built heritage.
Tickets for the conference, which takes place Thursday, October 3 9:30-5pm at The Forum, are available on the Norwich Society's website.
