Repairs on a major route out of the city are causing heavy traffic.
The roadworks are being carried out on East Hills Road just off Longwater Lane along the A1074.
Drivers should expect delays when traveling on or around these roads.
The repairs are being carried out by Cadent and are listed as "replacing the old pipes with new plastic ones "
Multiple-way signal traffic lights have been set up and the works are expected to last until midnight on October 8.
