Heavy downpours have been forecast across the region, leading to warnings of flooding and disruption.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for rain across Norfolk on Monday which will be in force from 00.01am until 11.59pm.
A spokesman for the forecaster said: "Areas of heavy rain are expected to affect many parts of England and Wales during Monday.
"There is potential that 30-50 mm could develop in any part of the warning area, much of which could fall in six hours or less.
"Some locations could see 80-100 mm over the course of 12 to 24 hours."
People are urged to be cautious of "spray and sudden flooding" on the roads leading to dangerous driving conditions and the risk of flooding to homes and businesses.
There may also be delays and cancellations to train and bus services and power cuts.
It comes following news that a storm brewing in the Atlantic Ocean is set to hit the county on Sunday bringing with it some damp and dreary conditions, beginning with light rain that morning.
