A woman is begging the council to fix the leaks which have been pouring from her flat ceiling for the last six months.
Olivia Taylor was worried her roof would collapse back in April, when water began continuously seeping from the flat above into her home in Markham Tower.
In May the council insisted the leak in the Mile Cross flat was fixed and that it was "in the process" of getting the ceiling problem resolved.
However the flat has since suffered another leak, with water creeping near plug sockets and smoke detectors, leaving Ms Taylor concerned for her safety.
She said: "The council have done nothing to help sort the previous issues and a couple of months ago there was a new leak coming through.
"There's water running down the wall and to the plug socket for my cooker.
"Since July I've not been able to use it and I have also unplugged my smoke detector because of the damp patch near it.
"I'm really concerned because as this goes on and doesn't get fixed, it becomes a fire hazard.

"I don't think I should be in the flat honestly, but I've asked the council if I could be moved to a different property and they said I can't."

"As such, we sent a tradesperson to investigate the property on September 16.
"We will also be sending a repairs supervisor out to the property again to resolve any outstanding issues."
