A Norfolk transgender activist with a string of convictions for dozens of offences repeatedly referred to police officers as paedophiles after being arrested for abusive behaviour.
Ella Potter, who identifies as a woman, launched the foul-mouthed tirade against officers during an incident on St Stephen’s Street in Norwich on July 27.
Norwich Magistrates’ Court was told Potter had also made obscene gestures towards a police car as it went past a bus stop where the 27-year-old was waiting.

When challenged by a passing shopper over the bad language Potter - who was referred to as 'she/her' throughout the court hearing - had become more abusive.
After being arrested the defendant persistently referred to an officer as a ‘nonce’.
Potter, of Poll Close in Wymondham, pleaded guilty to threatening and abusive behaviour.
Magistrates were told the activist has 17 previous convictions for 33 offences.
Earlier this month Potter appeared in court accused of sending false communication with intent to cause harm.
Potter, who was unrepresented, admitted using the term ‘nonce’ but denied it had been aimed at police.
The court imposed fines and costs of £112. It was told Potter owed £2,330 in outstanding fines for previous offences.
