Hundreds of hungry diners enjoyed great grub on the go as part of an annual city event.

On September 17, Lloyd Addison's Moveable Feast returned to the city and saw more than 750 people enjoy a starter, main course and dessert in different restaurants around the city.

The event is named after the late Norwich restaurateur Lloyd, who had Parkinson's and who came up with the concept to promote venues at a quiet time of year.

In total the diners raised a staggering £25,000 for Parkinson's UK beating last year's £21,000 total.

The gourmet night, sponsored by Norwich-based Cozens-Hardy LLP solicitors and Charles Stanley Wealth Investment, saw a new overall restaurant winner voted by diners.

Joe De’Ath, from the William and Florence, said: "Winning Lloyd Addison's Moveable Feast is more than just an acknowledgment of how much everyone enjoyed the delicious menu - it’s a celebration of community, creativity, and the shared joy of good food."

Beth Condie, community fundraiser for Parkinson’s UK, East Anglia, said that the event is a testament to the generosity of the local community: "We are absolutely thrilled with the incredible success of this year’s Moveable Feast.

"We are deeply grateful to our sponsors, which include Cozens-Hardy LLP and Charles Stanley Wealth Managers, De'Ath Hospitality and GoWise Print, whose support was invaluable, and to the wonderful team who organised the event with such passion and dedication."

"These funds are vital in aiding the charity to further research the cause of the disease with the aim of developing more treatments and hopefully, one day, a cure."
