The UK's first state-of-the-art beer spa at a Norfolk Broads hotel has been named one of the country's best places to relax.
The Norfolk Mead Hotel in Coltishall introduced its boozy baths in August as part of a £3.5m investment.
The refurb included a new thermal suite boasting a hydrotherapy pool, herbal steam room and an "outdoor oasis" area featuring an aromatic sauna, hot tub and cold shower buckets.

The judges loved its “state-of-the-art complex” with “son-et-lumiere showers” and described it as an “independently-owned hotel that offers ambitious dinners and world-class massages".
The Beer Spa is a UK first but is a popular European treatment "celebrated for its antioxidant effects".
Guests enter a wooden tub filled with vitamin-rich malt and hops and get their own beer tap with Woodforde's Brewery as the supplier.
