A man has suffered injuries to his face after an early morning attack in Norwich.
Reports came through to police that a man had been assaulted shortly after 4.35am on Tuesday.
When officers arrived at the scene in Barnards Yard, near the Norwich Univesity of the Arts Duke Street campus, they found a man had suffered facial injuries.

Paramedics were also called to the assault and they took the man to the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital for further treatment.
Police arrested a separate man at the scene on suspicion of assault (ABH) and he was taken to Aylsham Police Station for questioning where he remains.
Officers believe the men are known to each other.
