A warning has been issued to dogwalkers and locals after a dog poo bin was left in a smouldering heap in an apparent vandal attack.
The red waste container was discovered completely melted and oozing over the footpath just off Great Melton Road in Hethersett.
Firefighters attended the scene on Sunday night to cool the blackened lump of plastic and metal, with police officers also seen canvassing the area.
Hethersett Parish Council has since warned people to stay away from the remains of the bin because it is a biohazard and needs to be disposed of by specialist crews.

It added that a new bin will be purchased and installed in due course, costing the taxpayer several hundred pounds.
As well as vandalising the bin, a wooden footpath sign was torn from the ground and thrown into the nearby bushes.
It comes soon after the village hall in nearby Back Lane had its community garden vandalised, with tables burned and plants destroyed.
Police enquiries are continuing into both incidents.
