A woman has been left disgusted after seeing a member of staff at a city supermarket “coughing and sneezing” while handling food.
Sam Gidney was doing her weekly shop at the Morrisons store in Albion Way when she witnessed something that “stopped her in her tracks”.
"He was coughing and sneezing while handling food and stocking shelves but just kept carrying on,” she said. “It was shocking.
“He should've been sanitising or wearing a mask. Morrisons needs to up its game.
"I'm not saying I got it from him but I woke up a few days later with a very sore throat and tested positive for Covid.”

The 56-year-old complained to Morrisons head office after finishing her shopping on September 27 and was offered a £5 voucher for the store.
"I found it insulting,” she added. “It wouldn't even cover my Night Nurse."
A spokesman for Morrisons said: "We thank the customer for bringing this to our attention and have taken the opportunity to remind our colleagues of the importance of personal hygiene."
