The owners of a deli in the Norwich Lanes are embracing the farm-to-fork approach.

Bare Food Deli opened at 20 St Benedicts Street last December and it is run by Henry Barham and his mum Louise.

It is packed with local produce, including chutneys, charcuterie, ice cream, cheeses and fresh bread.

A recent development has seen the pair introduce their own free-range eggs and vegetables to the shop.

They come from Barefoot Farm, their 11-acre smallholding in Saxlingham Nethergate.

Louise said: "It is going really well at the deli and we now have the farm up and running.

"In the future, we also want to sell duck and quail eggs as well as milk and cheese from our goats.

"We have submitted a planning application for a barn at the farm to use as a milking parlour.

"The space would also allow us to offer our eggs wholesale."

Bare Food Deli also offers breakfast and lunch for delivery or collection through Just Eat and Deliveroo.
